Anthony Harley Taylor, 58, Topeka, Kansas, passed away at his home on January 29, 2022. Anthony was born February 20, 1963, in Topeka, the son of Robert and Patricia Reynolds Taylor. He graduated from Highland Park High School. He enjoyed collecting toy cars and stamps. Tony liked to do woodworking. He always had a companion dog with him. Tony loved being a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Matthew Catholic Church and activities related to Church. Tony is survived by his mother, Patricia Taylor of Topeka; siblings, Cathy Taylor of New Mexico, Mary Lou Taylor-Minnick (Karl) of Arizona, Don Taylor of Topeka, Laura Cavender (John) of Topeka, and Andrew Taylor (Tamara) of Perry; 14 nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Taylor. Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, where family will greet friends until 6 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2700 SW Virginia Avenue, Topeka KS 66605. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
