Galen Dale Krainbill, 85, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Galen was born August 12, 1936. He graduated from Fairview High School. Galen married Barbara McDaniel in Wetmore, Kansas on September 29, 1956, in St. James Catholic Church. He retired from Santa Fe, where he was a Carmen. He served in the Kansas National Guard. Galen was a member of the Bass Club, Capital City Anglers, Toppers Motorcycle Club, the Sawdusters and Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. Galen is survived by his children, Dave Krainbill, Kim Acker, Lisa Langer (John) and Eric Krainbill; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 2014 NW 46th Street, Topeka KS 66614, where rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Church. Burial to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa of Calcutta Church. Condolences may be sent online to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
