Mark W. Penn, 64, Topeka, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born in Galveston TX, the son of Mary Ann Cochran-Penn and George M. Penn. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Russell Penn. He is survived by his wife, Jeanyne Tangari; daughters, Natalie Penn (Scott Mayton) and Olivia Penn; grandson, Declan Edwards; sister, Cindi Buck and her children Rachel and Elliot; and brother, David Penn. Mark lived a full life. He attended Logan College of Chiropractic and was a well-respected healthcare professional. He was committed to developing a multidisciplinary practice at The Center for Manual Medicine. He was a dedicated student and teacher of karate, earning his 5th degree black belt a month before his death. Mark was an avid scuba diver, bicyclist, guitarist, triathlete, and enjoyed taking his motorcycle on the open road. He never knew a stranger. Above all, he was a wonderful father, husband, and friend. A celebration of Mark’s life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 24th, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS 66614. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washburn University, Topeka Rescue Mission, or Midland Care Hospice, and sent in care of the funeral home.
