Michelle Lynn Herrera, 37. Topeka, Kansas, passed away at her home, Sunday, December 19, 2021, one day shy of her birthday. Michelle was born December 20, 1983, and went home from the hospital in a Christmas stocking with her parents, Jeffrey and Brenda Freeman. She attended Topeka West High School. Michelle had been a care giver. She was dedicated, determined and loving and caring to those around her. She was an animal lover. Michelle enjoyed art and liked to paint. She loved cosmetics, doing her hair and make-up and was a tattoo enthusiast. Michelle was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Grateful to have shared Michelle’s life are her children, Julian Herrera, Angel Herrera, Samara Herrera and Ashlynn Koch; her parents, Jeff and Brenda Freeman; her brothers, Marcus Freeman, Allen Freeman (Melissa) and Kenneth Freeman (Claudia); her aunts, Jodi Snoe and Gerda Gain; and many cousins. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 28th, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29th, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral service will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook Page.
