Andrew "Dreux" Doty

Andrew "Dreux" Earl Doty, 55, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2026. Andrew was born in Lewiston, Maine, and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Lillian D'Auteuil Doty. To know Andrew was to know someone who could do just about anything. He was a true jack of all trades. If he didn't know how to do something, he never let that stop him. Andrew would teach himself, figure it out, and master it. Whether he was working as an IT Coordinator, entertaining a crowd as a DJ, or using his skills as a private digital investigator. Andrew approached everything with intelligence, determination, and a willingness to help others. Andrew was a devoted father to his children, Jack and Lilly. He was also a loving stepfather to Cody and Kelsey. Above all, he was a proud and devoted Pappo and the grandchildren were the light of his life. Andrew’s grandchildren were the center of his world. There was nothing he loved more than making memories with them, making them laugh, and showering them with love. To them, Andrew wasn't just a Pappo—he was their best friend, biggest supporter, and favorite adventure. The love, wisdom, and laughter he shared with them will live on forever in their hearts. Andrew was a cherished brother, a fun-loving uncle and cousin, and a loyal friend to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Andrew loved fiercely, gave generously, and made time for the people he cared about. His kindness, humor, wisdom, and unwavering love touched countless lives. Andrew's legacy lives on through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. Andrew is survived by his children, Lilly and Jack; stepchildren, Cody and Kelsey; beloved grandchildren; brother, Patrick; sister, Julie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be at 12 p.m. where the rosary will be prayed at 1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
