Lawrence "Larry" Ellerman

Lawrence "Larry" D. Ellerman, 47, Topeka, Kansas, left our world the morning of July 24, 2024. Larry was born in Auburn, Washington on March 21, 1977. Larry grew up in Cave Creek, Arizona where he attended school and met many of his lifelong friends. He met his wife Brandie while working in horse show production and management. They were united in marriage June 21, 2013. They traveled quite often to horse shows all over the world not only for Brandie to compete but their daughter, Hunter, as well. Larry also found great pleasure and had a talent for remodeling houses, which he and his wife Brandie did together. They made a great team, and it showed in their work. He lived a life full of love and kindness touching the hearts of many with shoulders broad enough to carry the world. Larry enjoyed watching both his wife Brandie and daughter Hunter compete at horse shows. He and his son Boston would often work on fixing things together and playing cars. However, one of his favorite things to do was watching his son, Colt, play football on Friday nights. Larry made friends everywhere he went, never meeting a stranger. A tremendous husband, father, and person. He will be greatly missed by many people far and wide. Larry is survived by his wife, Brandie Holloway; children, Hunter Holloway, Colt Ellerman, and Boston Ellerman; sister, Leesa Ellerman; and niece Ashlee Ellerman. Larry was a proud father and took so much pride in his children. Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, where a celebration of Larry’s Life will begin at 5 p.m. and visitation will follow until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3601 SW 17th Street, Topeka KS 66604. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
