Sarah Hager

Sarah Michelle Hager, 34, of Topeka, KS passed away suddenly on March 31, 2021, following a seizure at her home, the home she shared with her fiancee Joshua Looka and children. Her family is stunned and deeply saddened by her sudden and untimely death. Sarah was born February 7, 1987 in Glendale, AZ. As a child, Sarah and her siblings moved to Texas, then to Topeka, KS and then to Valley Falls, KS. Sarah's oldest two children, Alexis and Damian, are of the union with her high school sweetheart, Joseph Adan Garza. After graduating from Valley Falls High School in 2005, Sarah attended vocational technical school, becoming a Certified Medical Assistant, working for several medical offices in Topeka. She was proud to work in the medical field and was a caring and compassionate caregiver. Sarah loved her family, her many friends and, especially, her four children. Sarah is survived by four children, Alexis Michelle Hager, Damian Allen Hager, Aaliyah Kristine Hager, and Ashlynn Brent Hager; by her fiancee, Joshua Brent Looka; by her three siblings, Kristina Smith, of Red Oak, Iowa, Jennifer Heller, of Topeka, and Michael Hager, of Topeka; by her parents, Douglas and Kimberly Hager, of Topeka; and by her paternal grandmother, Martha Hager of Emporia, KS. We also wish to acknowledge that Rick and Martha Edwards of Topeka, KS are the great-grandparents of Alexis and Damian Hager. Sarah's memorial service will be Saturday, April 10, 10:30 a.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd. Topeka KS 66614. Burial will follow in Prairie Home Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are required. Sarah's service will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Everyone who knew Sarah knew that she was a special person with a great passion for life. Her family and friends will miss her more than mere words can express.
